- The 148th Street Subway Yard, the terminus of the no. 3 train, is completely flooded. "We are going to have to pump out the water and assess the level of damage and see if the water has corroded the third rail and electrical switches, " said MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan.
- The Coney Island train yard is notoriously flood-prone, but the MTA has not surveyed the damage yet, if any, Donovan said.
Metro-North
- The Hudson line in Ossining and Cortlandt is completely under water.
- The Harlem line in Valhalla is also completely submerged.
- Two mudslides on the Hudson Line, at Spuyten Duyvil and Glenwood, must be cleared.
- Two electrical substations on the Harlem Line are out of service.
- The New Haven Yard has no power because of a fallen tree. Other fallen trees along the line are interfering with signals.
