iPad Mini - Another NEW iPad and MORE APPLE GREED...

UPDATE: 10/24/12 WE'RE MAD AS HELL AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

We all know how #Apple announced on Tuesday October 24, 2012 the release of the NEXT GENERATION of the #iPad 4 just some 5 or 6 months after the "New" iPad 3 was released. This has set the Apple community ablaze with anger and looking for the heads of all in Cupertino!

Now word is spreading that Apple just may exchange you Old "NEW", greatest, best, most incredible but unfortunately already obsolete iPad 3 for a NOW REALLY "NEW' iPad 4. Cnet is reporting that at least one Apple Store -- on Stockton Street in San Francisco -- will take back your third generation iPads bought in the last 30 days provided that it show no serious signs of wear and tear.
Normally, the Apple return policy gives consumers just four days to return their iPads, so this should help some people.

However, the Stockton Street store's manager said that this policy applies only to her store, according to CNET. Other angry consumers will have to call their local stores to find out if they'll be able to receive the same accommodation.

Does Cupertino have a heart and will this be the trend to try to stem the anger that has now fallen over "Apple Land?"
So today once again #Apple held another event this time in SAN JOSE, Calif.

As we all held our collective technology breaths in great anticipation to what magnificent "NEW" devices, upgrades and general Tech "STUFF" they would announce to add Billion's more to there coffers we ALL got the shock of our lives and some a BIG pain and slap in the face as well.

Lets go over the "High Lights" and The SHOCKER!

Yes #Apple announced a 13-inch version of there MacBook Pro with Retina Display: Here are the Specs:
  • 20% thinner than previous model at 0.75 inches thick
  • 3.5lbs. Lightest MacBook Pro ever

But the shocker for all came with the #iPad. Tim Cook and Philip Schiller announced the 4th generation iPad. Yes that's right it was only 6-months ago that Apple unveiled the "New" Next not the iPad 2 for all to run out and buy. Now if you did you now have an old, new, last generation #iPad that when quantities are all sold will NOT be made anymore and will go the way of the dinosaur!

Once again #Apple demonstrates it's total disregard for it's consumers and always falls back on the "GREED" of 'Lets make as much money off the general public as we can cause there just stupid and will run out and buy anything with an #Apple logo on it!'

If your interested in giving Apple more of your money, here is the Specs on iPad (fourth generation):
  • A6X processor doubles CPU and graphics performance
  • 10 hours of battery life
  • FaceTime camera is 720p
  • Retina display
  • Lightning connector supported, and 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band WiFi and LTE
  • Black and white models available
  • 16GB Wifi starts at $499
  • Preorders start October 26th
The BIG announcement as we all new and were anticipating was the #iPad Mini. Now the quaestion has been "do we REALLY need a smaller version of the #iPad? Specs:
  • 7.9-inch screen with 1024-by-768 resolution
  • New aluminum glass enclosure
  • 23% thinner than 4th gen iPad at 7.2mm thin
  • 0.68 lbs (half the weight of the 4th gen iPad)
  • Dual-core A5 chip
  • FaceTime HD camera
  • 5MP iSight camera on the back
  • LTE wireless with 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band WiFi
  • Lightning connector
  • 10-hour battery life
  • Comes in black and white models
  • 16GB Wifi starts at $329
  • Pre-orders start October 26th
  • Wifi models available in stores Nov. 2nd. Wifi+4G available mid-November
But lest compare the "mini" with others in the market like the Google Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD:

 * 8.9-inch version also available, with a 1920×1200-pixel resolution.

So is this more Apple GREED or something better then it's competition. It's much more expensive then others in the market for sure. I for one believe this is basically a ROTTEN Apple

Up to you. Run out and get one or wait maybe this time 3-months for something newer, FASTER, BETTER!

FINAL SHOWDOWN: Romney vs Obama - Your Debate Guide

I have watched ALL of the debates so far. And it's TOUGH!! There a a LOT of sporting events on to watch also!!!

So in my opinion tonight's, Monday October 22, 2012 debate will be the "Tie Breaker" deciding factor in the "Race For The White House!"

Lets go over the score card and highlights of what has transpired before......

Round 1

October 3, 2012 - 1st Presidential Debate University of Denver in Denver, Colorado:
Topic: Domestic policy
Moderator: Jim Lehrer (Host of NewsHour on PBS)

The excitement and anticipation was overwhelming as this first debate, moved to Wednesday so as not to conflict with the opening of the NFL season game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York/New Jersey Giants. BIG D WON,was here and both candidates seemed ready!

THOUGHT'S: This will be known as the #BigBIrd Debate,President Obama's anniversary and the moderator doing a TERRIBLE job.

Romney: "What things would I cut from spending? Well, first of all, I will eliminate all programs by this test, if they don't pass it: Is the program so critical it's worth borrowing money from China to pay for it? And if not, I'll get rid of it. Obamacare's on my list. ... I'm sorry, Jim, I'm going to stop the subsidy to PBS. I'm going to stop other things. I like PBS, I love Big Bird. Actually like you, too. But I'm not going to -- I'm not going to keep on spending money on things to borrow money from China to pay for. That's number one."

Mitt Romney came out on the attack and President Obama just sat there and slept. He was like a Football team that had a BIG lead and was playing a prevent defense trying not to lose. BIG MISTAKE!!!

The Romney expectations were low so even a better then average performance would be deemed a victory but Mitt did better then that. Mitt took total control even walking all over Jim ignoring and talking over his directions as he attacked ATTACKED AND ATTACKED!! Obama, who just calmly sat there and really did very little in his defense or offense!

RESULT: ALL would agree except my Brother-in-Law, goes big to Mitt Romney!

HERE: Judge for yourself. Watch the entire debate.

Or if you prefer read the entire transcriptof the debate.

ROUND 2

October 11, 2012 Vice Presidential Debate - Centre College in Danville, Kentucky
Topic: Foreign and domestic policy
Moderator: Martha Raddatz (ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent)
The one and only Vice Presidential debate pitted the very experienced Vice President Joe Biden with almost 40 years in public office against the less experienced Congressman Paul Ryan with only 14 years in public office and it showed big time!

Before hand the big talk was about the moderator, Martha Raddatz, and her connection to Barack
Obama. Conservative media outlets cried foul after reporting that Obama was a guest at Raddatz's wedding to her first husband Julius Genachowski, his classmate at Harvard Law, in the early 1990s.

To me a none issue, she did a OK job as moderator but again the candidates just talked over her and try to do what they wanted, she was forceful but in truth the stakes were high for Biden as he had to step up and rescue the poor, weak performance of Obama as noted in a quote from Paul Ryan, "Mr. Vice President, I know you're under a lot of duress to make up for lost ground."

This debate will be known as the "Smiling Joe, Biden calling Rep. Ryan "My Friend", and the UTTER inexperience of Paul Ryan and boy did it show.

One of the night's most memorable lines came during a discussion of tax policy. Ryan insisted that Mitt Romney could make good on his promises to lower tax rates without increasing the deficit.

"Not mathematically possible," Joe Biden quipped. "It is mathematically possible,"said Ryan who insisted. "Jack Kennedy lowered taxes and raised revenue."
Biden quickly shot back, "Oh, now you're Jack Kennedy?" That line evoked memories of the famous moment in the 1988 vice presidential debate in which Lloyd Bentsen schooled Dan Quayle. After Quayle brought up JFK, Bentsen replied: "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy, I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."

RESULT: BIG win for Vice President Joe Biden as the inexperience of Paul Ryan was to much to overcome from him. But I wish Joe would have smiled and laughed a little less.

BUT, Judge for yourself. Watch the entire debate Here→

Or if you prefer read the entire transcriptof the debate.

ROUND 3

October 16, 2012 - 2nd Presidential Debate - Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York
Topic: Town meeting format including foreign and domestic policy
Moderator: Candy Crowley (CNN Chief Political Correspondent)

Great anticipation for this was can Obama change styles and get back what he lost in the first debate as well as dropping in the polls as the race for the White Housee was a tie or showing Obama slightly ahead.

IT WAS A STREET FIGHT! ONE OF THE BEST DEBATES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

The town meeting style was quietly thrown out the window as Mitt Romney attacked AGAIN and AGAIN! Even at one time both candidates were face to face yelling back and forth at one another as the moderator just sat there and did nothing to restore order.

It was a bizarre mix of testosterone, lies, and silly anecdotes, with moderator Candy Crowley of CNN presiding over the melee like Eagle quarterback Michael Vick at a dogfight.

Obama did change up and went into ATTACK mode himself taking the advantage even catching Romney in a lie on the Benghazi Attack in Libya as to when the President called it a "Terrorist" attack. Even the moderator jumped on Mitt's lie.

Here's the choice quote, from the end of Obama's speech the next day in the Rose Garden::
No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.  Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America.  We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act.  And make no mistake, justice will be done.

President Obama's full transcript of his Rose Garden Speech

But again the public horned in on Mitt Romney's "Binders Full of Women!"quote.

Undecided voter Katherine Fenton asked Obama: “In what new ways do you intend to rectify the inequalities in the workplace, specifically regarding females making only 72 percent of what their male counterparts earn?”

Obama responded by mentioning the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act—the first piece of legislation he signed into law.
BUT then it was Mitt's turn. The businessman and former governor of Massachusetts said he “learned a great deal” about gender pay inequality while building his cabinet.

“And I—and I went to my staff, and I said, ‘How come all the people for these jobs are—are all men.’ They said: ‘Well, these are the people that have the qualifications.’ And I said: ‘Well, gosh, can't we—can't we find some—some women that are also qualified?’ And—and so we—we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet. I went to a number of women's groups and said: ‘Can you help us find folks,’ and they brought us whole binders full of women.”

"BINDERS FULL OF WOMEN!"

RESULT: That's all you need to know about this second Presidential debate. A BIG win for Obama and a GREAT show for all of us.

BUT, Judge for yourself. Watch the entire debate Here→

ROUND 4:

October 22, 2012 - 3rd and FINAL Presidential Debate - Lynn University in Boca Raton, FloridaTopic: Foreign policy
Moderator: Bob Schieffer (Host of Face the Nation on CBS)

I expect a Fiery debate. I believe both candidates will come out and ATTACK and fight each other's remarks and statements at every chance. It's about Foreign policy but don't be surprised if domestic issues come up as well.

Here are questions and answers about the final debate, beginning 9 p.m. EDT and lasting until about 10:30 p.m.
Q. Who gets the first and last word?
A. Romney gets the first response to the opening question and the last closing statement.
Q. Wait a minute. Isn't that unfair?
A. No. The order was decided by separate coin tosses.
Q. Foreign policy can be complicated. Will there be enough time to dig deep into the issues?
A. Yes. The moderator has planned for six 15-minute segments. Each segment begins with a question, followed by two-minute responses for each candidate and discussion facilitated by the moderator.
Q. Who chooses the questions and the topics?
A. The moderator, Bob Schieffer of CBS News.
Q. What are the topics for the six segments?
A. America's role in the world; our longest war, Afghanistan and Pakistan; red lines and Israel and Iran; two segments on the changing Middle East and the new face of terrorism; the rise of China and tomorrow's world. The topics may come up in a different order and could change as warranted by breaking news.
Q. Where will the debate be held?
A. In Florida, one of the key battleground states, at Lynn University's theater in Boca Raton.
Q. Obama and Romney did a lot of walking around in the last debate, even circling each other. Will we see that again?
A. No. That was for the town-hall format. The candidates will be seated at the now-familiar, half-moon table owned by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
Q. How many people are watching the debates on television?
A. An estimated 65.6 million viewers watched the second presidential debate on Oct. 16, according to the Nielsen Co. Some 67 million people watched the first debate on Oct. 3.
Q. Is that the total number of debate viewers?
A. No. It doesn't count people watching on the Internet.

LET'S GET IT ON, AGAIN!!!!

Why get the #iPhone5. - Just UPGRADE to iOS6 NOW...

Apple's Maps app for iOS 6.UPDATE 2: Well I think I will WAIT a little until I download #iOS6. Reports coming in say the "New" Apple iOS Maps is, well, JUNK! Numerous reports from countless uses are "LOST", LITERATELY!

In Apple's hate and ongoing feud with Google, and vis versa, they have rushed to banish ALL Google products from there iOS, "OFF WITH THERE HEADS!" Now they have approved the new YouTube stand alone App back into the Apple party, but there angry replacement of Google Maps with there partnership with TomTom is childish as only they can be.

Are we just used to Google Maps sort of like that comfy ripped pair of jeans we wear that now also has become "Cool"? Google Maps isn't perfect, IT JUST WORKS!

no, #ios6maps, I don’t have to take a ferry to walk that. see that bridge there? you may have heard of it.
From iOS6-But I Would use the Golden Gate Bridge
iOS 6 Maps' lack of transit, Street View, POI data and sub-standard traffic reportage in lieu of them, Apple focused on turn-by-turn navigation, 3D Flyover views and its own traffic data. It also boast's of voice navigation(available only on the 4S & 5)but if it's telling you the wrong way to go then shut up! The Quality, well, users were reporting that Paddington station had vanished, London had been relocated to Ontario, the Sears Tower in Chicago had shrunk, and Helsinki railway station had been turned into a park.

SOLUTION: If you have already updated to #iOS6. or just ordered the #iPhone5. he's what you can do until Apple fixes this mess or, PLEASE GOD, Google comes out with a stand alone app:

Click this link for Step-By-Step Directions How to get Google Maps back onto iOS 6 as a 'web app'
vie  @SAI_Tools

I'm just waiting for the Apple statement saying that there new "MAPS" is in Beta!!!!!

UPDATE: 1: Well the problem's has been flowing in about Apple's recent update to #iOS6.

First this file is HUGE! 2.5GB! Make sure you have the space on your #iPhone or #iPad and enough battery life to finish the Job!

1.Users who report that after updating to iOS 6, they can no longer connect to Wi-Fi networks. When a connection attempt is made, their devices pop up a login screen that simply displays Apple’s (AAPL) website and offers nowhere to input any login credentials. When the screen is dismissed, the users’ devices fail to connect to the network. The issue seems to exist on open and secure Wi-Fi networks, and it affects saved networks as well. SOLUTION:  Many users report that the issue can be resolved by going to Settings > General > Reset on an affected device and selecting “Reset Network Settings,” or by simply toggling Wi-Fi on and off.

2.Process of downloading the massive update itself, which clocked in at a hefty 2.5 GB. iOS 6 is an “over the air” upgrade, meaning no connection to iTunes is required. It also meant that millions of early adopters were all trying to grab the file at the same time when it first appeared in Software Update Wednesday morning some shared reports of up to 5 hours download time!

3.Some users reported that their Music libraries had suddenly vanished. Playlist, Artist and Album names all remained, but the tracks themselves were unavailable.
A spinning wheel in the upper left corner of the device’s screen indicated that the Music app was trying to access something, but the songs remained stubbornly invisible, even to Siri. I have seen no Solution available yet.

4.App Store and Passbook "Can't Connect to iTunes Store" Error. Numerous reports of this going around, some unable to connect to App Store, SOme updating Apps while others are unable to view Passbook apps when connecting from the Passbook application. I Noticed this Possible Solution Posted on Apple's Support Forum Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to [update the apps again or press the button from Passbook]. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try [again].

If I find any others I will pass along. If you have experienced any issues leave a comment below!

We ALL waited for the #iPhone5. to come out.

While it's great with it's speedy 4G LTE networks, a speedy new Apple-designed A6 chip, new screen, 4-inches diagonally, 18% thinner and 20% lighter than BLAH BLAH BLAH...

I get it!! It's NICE, BUT a LOT of the other "NEW" features for the iPhone 5 is part of  IOS6 that comes out Wednesday September 19, 2012 and will work just fine with the 4S the 4 and according to Apples web site even the 3GS. As well as the #iPad2 and the "NEW" iPad.

WARNING: When you upgrade your #Apple device to the new iOS6 the #YouTube App will NOT be included! Don't fret though, #Google has made an updated version available from the #iTunes stole for Free. Click on HERE for the Link.

Lets take a look at some of the NEW features included with iOS6....

MAPS:
It Better Keep me on the Road.
Now I get lost leaving my Driveway, so the announcement that #Apple is replacing Google Maps with there own makes me a little frightened to back out of my driveway!! Google's new iOS app is not ready so we re stuck with the Apple's version. Learn more about it HERE

SIRI:
The Apple voice activated Personal assistant that is forever in Beta!
I remember when I first got my iPhone 4S I was so excited about Siri. Having seen all those apple commercials with those big stars and ordinary people it seamed that there was nothing it couldn't do. Well while it is very useful, sometimes, I must admit I have been using it less and less. Now it's suppose to open some Apps, as my dad would say, "WE' LL SEE" Learn more about it HERE.

FACEBOOK:
That place where you go to tell the world you've changed your socks!!
Ok, I'll admit it, I'm not a big fan of facebook. Oh I have a page,
(<FRIEND ME HERE.>) But never really have gotten into it like I have #TWITTER
Now it's inter grated right into the iPhone like Twitter. Share Photos etc. with ease.

SHARED PHOTO STREAMS:
Apple always updates this just DON'T cross the STREAMS!!
Now you can share just the photos you want, with just the people you choose. Simply select photos from the Photos app, tap the Share button, choose who you want to share your photos with, and they’re on their way.

PASSBOOK:
Ticket, Boarding Pass, Card and Coupon. Hmmm, sounds like a Filing Cabinet!!
Your boarding passes, movie tickets, retail coupons, loyalty cards, and more are now all in one place. With Passbook, you can scan your iPhone or iPod touch to check in for a flight, get into a movie, and redeem a coupon.

FACETIME:
Very rarely use this.....
FaceTime now works over cellular networks as well as Wi-Fi, so you can make and receive FaceTime calls wherever you happen to be.3 You can even make and receive FaceTime calls on your iPad using your phone number. That means you can use FaceTime wherever you are, on any device. And never miss another wink, smile, air kiss, or eye roll.

PHONE:
Now this is very useful. Remember when Cell Phones where use to make and receive calls.....
iOS 6 adds new calling features to your iPhone. Now when you decline an incoming call, you can instantly reply with a text message or set a callback reminder. And when things are just too hectic, turn on Do Not Disturb and you won’t be bothered by anyone — except can’t-miss contacts like your boss or your better half.

MAIL:
You Have...wait that's someone else. Must admit, I use my iOS device to get my mail MOST of the time!
Redesigned with a more streamlined interface for easier reading and writing, Mail in iOS 6 lets you set up a VIP list so you’ll never miss an important message from your accountant, your boss, or your BFF. It’s even easier to add photos and videos to email messages. And to refresh your mailboxes, all you have to do is swipe down.

SAFARI:
Searching the web for me is a 24/7 activity.....
iCloud Tabs keeps track of which pages you have open on your devices, so you can start browsing on one device and pick up right where you left off, on whatever device is handy. Safari now saves web pages — not just links — in your Reading List, so you can catch up on your reading even when you can’t connect to the Internet.4 And when you’re posting a photo or video to eBay, Craigslist, or another site, you can take photos and video — or choose from your Camera Roll — without leaving Safari. When you really want to see the whole picture, turn your iPhone or iPod touch to landscape and tap the full-screen icon to view web pages without distractions.

ACCESSIBILITY:
A great upgrade to those that are physically challenged.
iOS 6 comes with even more features to make it easier for people with vision, hearing, learning, and mobility disabilities to get the most from their iOS devices. Guided Access helps students with disabilities such as autism remain on task and focused on content. It allows a parent, teacher, or administrator to limit an iOS device to one app by disabling the Home button, as well as restrict touch input on certain areas of the screen. VoiceOver, the revolutionary screen reader for blind and low-vision users, is now integrated with Maps, AssistiveTouch, and Zoom. And Apple is working with top manufacturers to introduce Made for iPhone hearing aids that will deliver a power-efficient, high-quality digital audio experience.

CAMERA:

This is probably the one feature I am really looking forward too.
The new panorama feature for iPhone and iPod touch lets you capture everything from a momentous family reunion photo to a sweeping vista.6 With one simple motion you can shoot up to 240 degrees — even vertically, to get that redwood tree, say. Then hardware and software work together to create one seamless, high-resolution panorama.

Others are "Find My iPhone"  iOS 6 and iCloud now offer Lost Mode, making it even easier to use Find My iPhone to locate and protect a missing device. "Find My Friend" assuming you have some of course, Those who share their locations with you appear on a map so you can quickly see where they are and what they’re up to. And with iOS 6, you can get location-based alerts — like when your kids leave school or arrive home. Remodeled Stores including redesigned iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore.

In fact Apple states there are over 200+ new and updates features in iOS6. So don't run out and get a
